President Trump, stung by the backlash to his comments about injecting disinfectant to treat Covid-19, spent the weekend giving a Twitter tutorial on the art of sarcasm.
The isolation caused by social distancing measures is affecting everyone in different ways. For Colbert, it’s meant managing his increasingly shaggy hair by trying out a confronting new parting. For Trump, it’s meant suggesting we try fighting the coronavirus by injecting people with bleach.
“It’s not enough that his supporters are all white on the outside,” Colbert quipped before reminding people they should never, ever do that.
